Buddy Guy's Legends

Mr. Guy had only a few requirements for the new club: the main stage had to be on the first floor with a corner entry, a first-class kitchen for the southern-inspired menu and he didn't want it to look overly polished. "A blues club is kind of old and funky", Guy said. Despite the old and funky feel, the stage equipment is truly state of the art with the latest technology for both audio and video as well as light and broadcast. Both the new LED stage lights and digital speakers use a fraction of the energy required of the old-school equipment.

The new building has a gross area of 16,000 square feet. The first floor area of approx. 6,000 s.f. patron space is about the same size as the old club, but with better sight lines. The second floor patron space of approx. 5,000 s.f. features a billiard room and private party facility. The second floor also houses the offices of Checkerboard Productions and BG Artist Management, along with Mr. Guy's private office. Be sure to stop by Buddy's website here.
