Burns + Beyerl Architects, Inc, designs high-end residential community in Beijing China
Chicago, IL - July 2, 2001 - Burns + Beyerl Architects (BBA), has been hired to design a new community with 217 high-end private residences in Beijing China.
The Beijing Clear Water Fountain Real Estate Development Co., Ltd. and the Beijing World Trade Corporation have selected BBA along with two other firms (Steven Ehrlich Architects of California and House Brand of Calgary, Canada), to create a master plan and house designs for a 165 acre site in Beijing, in an invited competition.
Burns + Beyerl Architects, in collaboration with Anderson & Oh Architects and Wolff Clements & Associates (Landscape Architecture and Planning), shall provide design services related to the master plan and building designs to be presented in Beijing on August 28th. The firm with the winning master plan will be designated as the lead architect on the project and the two other firms will be contracted to provide designs for some of the new residences and health club.

"It is our hope to design a community which will not only break the barrier within China but also challenge similar developers within the United States."
