Jeff was raised in Sterling, Illinois, about 100 miles west of Chicago. He attended the University of Illinois at Chicago, receiving a Bachelors degree of Arts in Architectural Studies.  For his Senior year at UIC, Jeff attended the E’cole de Architecture in Versailles, France.

Upon graduation in 2000, Jeff began his career with an Architecture/Engineering firm that focused on light commercial projects. Over the past six years Jeff has gained residential experience ranging from single-family residences in north shore communities to multi-family condominiums in Chicago to active adult communities on the east coast. He is actively pursuing the completion of his IDP requirements so that he can complete the ARE examinations to become a licensed architect. Jeff joined Burns + Beyerl Architects in March of 2008.

Jeff and his beautiful wife Jill live in the Kilbourn Park neighborhood on the Northwest side of Chicago. When Jeff is not working he is out racing his bicycle(s) either at a weekend road race or at the Ed Rudolph Velodrome in Northbrook, IL.
