Jeffrey Whiteman, AIA
Project Architect

Jeff joined Burns + Beyerl Architects in March, 2008 as an Associate. He received a Bachelors degree of Arts in Architectural Studies from University of Illinois at Chicago in 2000.  During his final year at UIC, Jeff attended the E’cole de Architecture in Versailles, France. He is currently licensed in the state of Illinois.

Jeff was raised in Sterling, Illinois, about 100 miles west of Chicago. Jeff began his career with an Architecture/Engineering firm focused on light commercial projects.  After two years he decided to pursue his passion for residential design. He gained invaluable experience with several Chicago firms, ranging from single-family residences in north shore communities to multi-family condominiums in Chicago to active adult communities on the east coast. With this experience, Jeff excels at managing the coordination of drawings from design to construction.

Jeff and his wife, Jill, are proud parents of identical twin boys: Owen and Henry.  They reside in the suburb of Downers Grove, Illinois.  Jeff is an elite level track cyclist competing at the national level and when not chasing the boys, can usually be found racing at velodromes across the country.
