Michelle joined Burns + Beyerl in April 2016. She received a Bachelor’s in Architectural Studies from Judson University in Elgin, IL and a Master of Architecture from The School of the Art Institute of Chicago. During her time in school she travelled to Ecuador, Italy, Greece and Germany, absorbing different styles of architecture, environment, and culture. These experiences resonated with her, from the most intricate details of a building to the delicate landscapes and people.
Michelle had the privilege to begin her career in Chicago at a prominent architectural firm, where she gained a tremendous amount of drafting, design, and administrative experience within a short period of time. It is there that she fell in love with custom residential architecture and a desire to create individual works of art that families can call home.
A native Chicagoan; Michelle resides in a vintage Lincoln Park apartment, likes to run outdoors, loves to spend time with her family, travels and enjoys learning new languages. She also likes to volunteer her time with community service programs such as Feed My Starving Children. Last but certainly not least, she enjoys the limitless delectable food options the great city of Chicago has to offer.
